What would you do for a motivated extra pair of hands over the busy holiday period?
Through the CHASE programme, you can have extra help from mid-October through to mid-February from keen, experienced vocational students who have chosen hospitality as a serious career and are eager to deepen their experience while expanding their horizons in a new culture.
We have two trainee chefs (from Sweden and Latvia) and two service trainees (and France and Latvia) who are currently taking part in a preparation month in Glasgow including culture, English classes, Scottish food tasting and cooking lessons and Whisky Ambassador training. We’re just looking for the right Scottish host hotel(s) for them.
If you would love to give them an enriching experience – and your hotel restaurant some extra capacity and energy – please get in touch. Because of the EU’s Erasmus+ and the CHASE programme, they don’t need a salary, but they do need:
- accommodation (at the hotel or other appropriate accommodation)
- spending money
We would like to place them either in pairs, as a group, or near each other in different hotels in the same town. Last year’s CHASE interns worked at the Glasgow Marriott and at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles. They had a great experience, but for practical reasons can’t host this time – so this time it could be you!
